Did you know? Reviewers can access their own performance statistics

Question-markIn EM Version 10.1, reviewers can be given permission to view the record of their own “Review History” with a journal.

Upon accessing twelve categories such as Current Review Statistics, Historical Reviewer Averages, Reviewer Recommendation Summary, and Completed Reviews, reviewers have the ability to become more involved by analyzing past performance and self-regulating in the future.

Do your production vendors interact with ProduXion Manager?

PM-automation-finalJournals using ProduXion Manager can automatically transfer files and metadata to and from production vendors such as copy editors and compositors, reducing the need for human intervention.

Increased adoption of PM means that a growing list of production vendors interact with PM, either manually or by using automated transfer. These vendors include Charlesworth, Dartmouth Journal Services, SPi, Newgen, Macmillan, Thomson, Aptara, TNQ, and Data Corp.

Improved issue management

PM_verticalRecent ProduXion Manager (PM) enhancements offer production staff even more control in organizing and manipulating components of issues, such as options for easily editing the details of scheduled groups (issues), reordering tables of contents and sections, changing page count, adding manuscript details and section headers, and more.

The upcoming PM Version 10.2 introduces “batch assignment” of production tasks. For example, editors can assign copy editing of three manuscripts to a freelancer or other production vendor at one time.
