Did you know? Journals can improve the quality of peer review

Question-markIn EM Version 10.1, journals can give reviewers access to CrossCheck similarity reports for manuscripts assigned to them. Activating this feature can help improve the quality of peer review and manuscript analysis.

As shown below, EM displays an overall similarity score for the manuscript and a link to view the full report.

Version 11.0 includes FundRef integration – beta testers currently enrolling

v11Editorial Manager (EM) and ProduXion Manager (PM) Version 11.0, scheduled to enter beta testing in late January, includes FundRef integration.

FundRef is a standard taxonomy of research funders. The EM/PM integration allows authors to easily select their funding sources from an auto-populated list.

Aries customers activate ORCID feature in Editorial Manager

ORCID-Member-LogoAries Systems, an ORCID launch partner and sponsor, has integrated Editorial Manager and ProduXion Manager with the registry, allowing publications to accept ORCIDs from authors, co-authors, reviewers, and editors.

Public Library of Science (PLOS), Springer, and Wolters Kluwer rank among Aries customers who have activated the EM functionality for collection and workflow assimilation of unique identifiers.
