Hot Topic: Discussion Forums

Editorial Manager functionality was recently mentioned on the ISMTE listserv.

Participants noted that EM Discussion Forum functionality is “user friendly and straightforward.” They also observed that it’s easy to keep up with editorial discussions in EM because of helpful messaging and interface notification to alert users when there is new activity in the discussion thread.

Editorial Manager was contrasted with other solutions that don’t seem to offer as straightforward a user experience. In EM, it’s easy to add/remove participants, and keep all submission discussions organized in a “nice, tidy way.”
